As a Service Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and service of milking, feeding & manure robots and associated peripheral equipment at our customers, the dairy farmers. The work is versatile and includes electronics, mechatronics, pneumatics and associated software. You also take care of the commissioning of new (robot) systems and you give operating instructions to customers. You ensure accurate administration of all work performed: work orders, timesheets and parts processing. Running breakdown services is also part of the job.
The challenge lies in optimizing the machines down to the smallest details, so that they run optimally and reliably. Although you have a large degree of independence in your work, you often work together with the rest of your team. The lines of communication are short and you will work in an informal team with motivated colleagues.
Qualifications
- Experience as a service technician.
- Affinity with dairy farming; you are not afraid of dirty hands.
- Service and customer-oriented attitude.
- A team player who likes to support colleagues remotely.
- Great independence, responsibility, commitment and a pragmatic, solution-oriented attitude, both technically and in contact with customers.
- A valid Driving License
